Tim James, Inc. (TJI) is an infrastructure company that specializes in driving economic growth, improving safety and enhancing communities by responsibly developing privately owned toll bridges throughout the Southeast. Founded in 2019 and based in Alabama, TJI is a family-owned and -operated company that draws upon its employees’ decades of infrastructure experience to develop projects that make life better.

OUR MISSION

TJI drives growth and improves lives by developing privately owned toll bridges responsibly throughout the Southeast. The company identifies under-invested transportation networks and builds coalitions of community members and leaders to support infrastructure investments necessary to advance surrounding communities. TJI takes into consideration improvements needed to existing roadways and fully funds the development of its toll bridges that meet its criteria for responsible development. Understanding that state departments of transportation often lack the resources necessary to build all new roadways that are needed to improve transportation networks, TJI is equipped to make strategic, private investments to build express corridors that improve lives.

TJI manages all phases of a project from land acquisition, permitting, design, financing, construction and operations.
